BF Games Granted ISO Certification, Readies for Swiss iGaming Debut

Dynamic online casino games maker BF Games has marked another milestone in its international expansion strategy just days after announcing that it had been certified to provide its products in Croatia.

The company announced Monday morning that it has obtained information security certification ISO 27001 ahead of its planned debut in the regulated Swiss online gambling market.

Among other things, this latest accreditation demonstrates BF Games’ commitment to information security management as the developer looks to expand the exposure of its portfolio of games across multiple regulated markets in Europe.

The ISO 27001 certification is granted namely to companies that are capable of proving their commitment to information security management. Before being issued the certification, these companies undergo a testing and certification process that covers protection of sensitive information as well as development, infrastructure, and network configuration.

Securing the ISO 27001 certification is a mandatory requirement for online casino content suppliers looking to enter several regulated European markets, including Switzerland and Hungary. Both countries form a strong part of BF Games’ expansion strategy in the coming few months, the company itself revealed.

As mentioned earlier, news about the studio’s ISO 27001 certification emerged days after it announced that it had secured regulatory green light to enter Croatia’s regulated iGaming space.

Of their latest big news, BF Games CEO Piotr Szpoton said that gaining the ISO certification has marked an important step for them and also showcases their “total commitment to best business practices and the protection of customer data.”

Mr. Szpoton went on to add that they believe this approach will set them in good stead as they continue to expand their horizons and will pave the way for Swiss players to soon enjoy BF Games’ “dynamic, innovative games portfolio.”

BF Games is the latest major supplier to enter the Swiss iGaming market in recent months. Earlier this year, rival online casino games developer Wazdan celebrated its debut in the space through a partnership with local gambling operator Swiss Casinos. BF Games is yet to announce its first partners in the market.
